About Natalie
As your Ward 5 Councillor since 2024, Natalie Hart is proud to put you first at City Hall. She is an advocate for our neighbours and neighbourhoods in every corner of Ward 5, from the village of Malton to Britannia and all the communities in between.
Natalie’s focus is on initiatives that improve day-to-day life for residents. She introduced the Ward 5 Be a Good Neighbour pilot project, a first-in-the-city effort to use education and enforcement to address common property standards issues. She is an inaugural member of the city’s Stormwater Advisory Committee, where she advocates for residents in Ward 5 who have been impacted by flooding driven by extreme weather in recent years. Natalie is also proud to serve on the Board of Visit Mississauga, where she supports work to draw millions of visitors to our city each year, and the Transit Committee, where she pushes for increased mobility options for all.
Natalie is deeply involved in our community, sitting on the Board of the Malton BIA where she supports work to foster a stronger sense of community, including the annual Canada Day celebration and the project to build a replica Avro Arrow. She is proud to volunteer with the Punjabi Golfers Association and support their annual charity event that has raised more than $60,000 for local food banks.
Prior to her election to Council, Natalie’s career in banking and commercial lending took her across Ontario. She returned to Mississauga, where she was raised, more than 12 years ago and quickly got involved in community work. From 2019 until 2024 she was General Manager of the Malton BIA, working to support local businesses, drive economic growth and foster a sense of community.
Natalie is excited to be running for re-election and looks forward to connecting with you soon. She encourages you to have a look at her achievements and her plan, and reach out to share your feedback and get involved.
